How Boise Dental Gives Back to Our Community
Our team at Boise Family Dental Care began the year by brainstorming how we wanted to give back to our community in 2015. Through discussions we realized our most rewarding experiences at work have been times Dr. Crump has chosen to provide free dental care to patients who could not afford it. As a result, we decided to elevate the practice’s commitment to the community by creating the “Sharing Healthy Smiles” initiative.
We have a long history of volunteering our services, and “Sharing Healthy Smiles” formalizes this commitment and increases our impact as a dentist in boise.”
We’ve had a wonderful summer spreading the word and getting to meet our weekly finalists as they come in for their free cleaning, exam, and x-rays. The excitement in the office has been building as we approach our Grand Prize drawing on September 10th. The Grand Prize winner will receive up to $35,000 of needed dental services according to what the Dr. Crump sees the winner needs. Dr. Crump, a Boise dentist, set a clear direction for our efforts from the beginning “We wanted the emphasis of our efforts to be on oral health, not just cosmetic dentistry. It really doesn’t matter if your front teeth look good if the rest of your mouth is full of decay and pain. As health care providers our main goal is always to get and keep our patients healthy. The beautiful “cosmetic” result is just a byproduct of doing great dentistry for our patients. ”
